Our Sunday activities are called Fireworks and cater for children up to the age of eleven.
In most Sunday meetings the children join in with the rest of the church for about 30 minutes of worship before going out for their activities. The activities are usually led by 2 or 3 volunteers and are a time for the children to have fun as well as to find out more about how Jesus can impact their lives. In these groups, the children build relationships with other children their own age, and learn in a fun, safe and comfortable setting.
We also run a well-resourced crèche. Parents are welcome to stay with their children if they wish. They also leave the meeting after the first 30 minutes.
As a church we have a growing youth work. Many of the youth go to the Newday youth event for a whole week! They are typically to be found eating together, playing games together, chatting together and learning about God together!
All of our Children’s leaders and workers go through our child Safeguarding procedure. This includes being police checked through ISA/ Criminal Records Bureau. If you wish to see a copy of our Safeguarding Policy please contact the church office.
